The [boring] life of a SAHM

Ugh so I need to rant, I'm pretty PO'd.

There is a concert in town tonight (Dennis Jernigan) my church asked Josh and I to go and help, which we gladly agreed to. So we found a baby sitter for Braxton. Joshs mom said she would do it (weeks ago!) Well this week she said she would be by Friday at 2 to pick up Braxton and she would keep him 2 nights. Okay so Friday rolled around and she said, "well I'll just pick him up Saturday at 8" Okay well 8 came this morning and she wasnt there, an hour passed, she wasn't there. I told Josh to call her and find out whats going on. So he calls her and she says "I'll be there at 1 to get him" Well at 12:30 she gets her fiance to text josh saying "Your mom doesn't feel well, find another baby sitter." Right! The day OF the concert...everyone I know is busy!! My mom has to work, my dad, my father in law and my grandparents go to my church so they are going to be there too. That leaves NO ONE to babysit and I DO NOT want to attempt to take Braxton. I am soooo frustrated right now because 1) I made a commitment to my church and how can I help when I have a toddler to watch after? 2) I was reaaaaally looking forward to going and now I don't think I will.

Now this maybe wouldn't upset me so bad but this is what she ALWAYS does. She tells us she will watch him, we make plans and she cancels the same day. The past 5 (at least) times she has said she will watch him she has bailed and forced us to let others down by cancelling plans. I told Josh I'm SICK of it, if she doesnt want to watch him she shouldn't even offer. She was always ALL for it while he was a baby, and I know once this baby is born she will be ALL for watching her/him. I say she doesn't get to keep either of them ever...maybe its my hormones, but I am just SOOO pissed about this!!!
