Braxtons Dr Appt

Braxtons appointment went well.
He is 36 inches and 38 lbs!!!
When the nurse called his name he ran away screaming "no no no" Daddy had to pick him up and make him go back there.
He did very well though. I was surprised.
They didn't give him his Hep A shot though b/c he was a week early for it so she said to just bring him to my next OB appt and they'd get him then. (Braxton & I have the same dr) :)
So he'll be getting his Hep A in 3 weeks and then its another year or two before he needs more! :)

Wow!!

I feel great today.
No morning sickness.
I have energy!
Wow!!
This is great!
:D

"No"

So.
Ever since Braxton turned two (just yesterday) "No" has been his favorite word. He never really used it often before now, but now he says it constantly.
Examples:
"Braxton do you need your diaper changed?"
---"Noo"
"Braxton lets watch a movie."
---"Noo"
"Braxton, is mommy having a boy or girl baby?"
---"Noo, Shhhh!"

LOL.

Braxtons bedroom looks sooo cute with all his new Cars stuff, I just had to take pics and share! Hehe :)

Braxtons birthday went very well. We went to church and then had his party at 2. Everything went well, kinda. He threw a fit because he wanted to start out with cake and icecream and it HAD to be at HIS table. So we had to move the cake and plates, and napkins, and forks..to his table and the whole time we sang happy birthday he was eating icing off the cake, haha. We just had one candle on his cake, a cars candle, and he blew it out on the first try! I was a bit surprised! So we had cake & icecream and then Braxton wanted to open presents so we did. I got a little upset with his cousin Brent though..Brent was sitting right next to Braxton and would hand him a gift and say "Braxton open it!" and Braxton would start to and then Brent would just grab it out of his hands and tear it open. I had to get onto him several times because his mom wouldn't. I probably got more pictures of Brent opening presents than Braxton. Okay, so Braxton is a slow gift opener, he opens a gift and he wants to look at it, well every time Braxton would open one Brent would grab it out of his hands, throw it on the floor and shove another gift in Braxtons face...and each time Braxton would screeeeam because he wanted to look at his new toy. After a while Braxton got totally fed up with opening gifts he got down from the table screaming "no no no no no!" Other than that things went well! Here are some pics:

MOVEMENT!!!

I felt the baby move!!!!!!!
About 4 days ago I *thought* I felt it move, I was laying down after drinking some juice and I felt little fluttery feelings. I really can't remember what early movement feels like so I kinda shrugged it off and figured if I started feeling it more then it's the baby! Well!! Yesterday I felt it again, but for longer! I'm sooo excited!!!!! :)
Before long I'll be feeling kicks and jabs! :D

Snow

Oh I've been so busy the past couple days.

Yesterday I had to run to Stillwater and order Braxtons cake. (its really cute)
Also had to go to Party America for a few last minute decorations.
Then I had to come home and wrap up his presents.

I'm really excited about his birthday but I'm also super sad as well. I can't believe my babys turning two. Yesterday we all got up early and went to McDonalds for breakfast. I was just watching him eat and nearly started crying...he's grown so much! Just a year ago I was breaking him from the bottle! It's so hard to believe!! He's finally talking more and starting to talk in sentences. Though the bad thing about him talking is he's picking up some words/phrases he shouldn't be using. My parents cuss around him without even thinking and he repeats it right after they say it. He's started using the words "Don't!" "No!" and "Stop!" and he'll use them for the weirdest reasons. For example he won't tell me to "stop" while I'm changing his diaper but when we're in the car and I have the radio on and I'm singing along he'll point his finger at me, yell "Don't!" and tell me to "shhh" Maybe he's trying to tell me something? ;)

Well at my doctors appointment I was prescribed a prenatal vitamin-which is weird b/c she didn't do that for me for Braxton...I'm thinking maybe her office switched insurance companys or something because when I was there they gave me like 6 pregnancy magazines and a bunch of informationaly pamplet-type things. That was definetly new. Anyways-sticking to the story-I just got my prescription filled yesterday and my gosh those things are humongous!! They are nearly twice the size of my regular prenatal. How am I supposed to swallow that thing? Look:

I was at walmart yesterday-in the baby section because I needed to get Braxton some wipes, and I found some clearance racks. (gotta love em) I started looking and found this for only a dollar:

It's a little newborn hoodie, fleece. How cute?! I had to buy it of course...so now I have this for a boy and a dress for a girl-LOL. Luckily many of my friends are pregnant so I can give away the one I won't need. :)
Blech. I'm gonna be soo busy today too...the church is having a dinner thing tonight. Live entertainment, ham dinner (uck!) and more...so we have to go help set up/decorate and then be there the four hours its going on...I really don't feel like doing much of anything today, but oh well!
and then tomorrow is Braxtons birthday. *tear*

14 weeks!!

Whoo-hoo! I'm 14 weeks today! Time has really gone by FAST!! Just 2.5 more weeks until we find out the sex! 18 days seems like an eternity but I'm hoping time will just fly by as it has been!
How baby is growing:
Your baby measures about 3.7 to 4.1 inches (about 9.3 to 10.3cm) from crown to rump and weighs about 1.75 ounces (50g).
Your baby's bones still consist of soft cartilage but they are now beginning to harden and the development of the bones and the marrow continues. Her ears are developing into a more recognizable shape and any hair already on the head and brows will become thicker.
Your baby may already be sucking her thumb.
Her skin is thin and translucent and all her blood vessels can be seen through it.
Her hair continues to grow on her head and her eyebrows. If her hair will be dark, the follicles will start to generate pigment to color her hair.
Your baby is moving more now and is becoming increasingly flexible. She can bend her arms at the elbows and wrists and she can make tiny fists with her hands.
What's going on with mommy:
Most of the discomforts of early pregnancy, such as nausea and fatigue are behind you for now and you are probably feeling better. The pregnancy is probably feeling like a reality. Any dark pigment on your skin (such as moles and freckles) may become even darker, and you might develop a facial pigmentation known as chloasma which will fade after the birth.

Old Wives Tales

*Fish hooks in the eyes
What you do is look at the whites of the eyes. Get the pregnant woman to look upwards, as what you are looking for is two little blood vessels that appear below the iris. The blood vessels should look like little fish-hooks. there should be two of them, one at approximately 5 o'clock and one at seven o'clock. If they appear in the right eye, it's a girl on the way. If they appear in the left eye, it's a boy. If they appear in both eyes, you're going to have twins (one of each), though if you aren't having twins and the fish-hooks still appear in both eyes, then girl overrides.

We have been trying this out in the Aug and Sept boards and so far its been right 12 times and wrong 3 times! I need to go check my eyes.....** I just checked and I have TWO in my right eye!! =GIRL!

*Chinese Calender
I've tried both versions that are out there and both said=GIRL!

*Ring suspended by string
Spun in circles which means=GIRL!

*Old wives tale quiz
Congrats! The old wives tales indicate that you are having a GIRL!

I think thats all the OWT I know...but they all point to girl! Let's hope so!!

No concert :(

Josh and I were given some concert tickets to go see Mercy Me. Well we went and picked them up yesterday and its WAY more than just that. It's Mercy Me, Hawk Nelson, Addison Road, Flyleaf and more. It's on April 4th and we have already promised our church we would help out with a small concert the churches in our town put together. :(( It's so tempting to just go to the Mercy Me concert instead buuuut God honors our commitments...I'm just a bit disappointed. I love nearly every band thats playing. Here is the info on the show:

Awesome book!

We went to hastings tonight and I found an amazing book! I looked at it while I was pregnant with Braxton but never got it-always wanted to though! It's called from conception to birth a life unfolds.

It is so informitive, has tons of pictures and for the first 3-4 months into the pregnancy gives a day by day guide of how baby is growing! It's definetly worth checking out!

While we were there I looked at some books that I thought Josh might like. I don't remember any of the titles but he made me kinda upset. I showed him one that I thought would be interesting for him to read, just about pregnancy and what I'll be going through. (I thought maybe he needed a little reminder since he has been quite unsympathetic about my symptoms...) He just flat out told me no,he won't read it. I asked why and he said "Uh I already know whats gonna happen-you've been pregnant before!" Ugh! I mean, he does get weekly emails from babycenter but I just thought it would be nice if he read a book or two to kinda refresh his memory. He's being so stubborn about everything!!

My BFF Angela has been driving me crazy today! I told her what names I am considering if its a boy and she hates them all. She told me I should just stick with "normal" "old-fashioned" names. I told her I don't like names that you hear often, that I want my children to have uncommon names because I hated having a popular name growing up. So today she goes out and buys 2 baby name books and has been suggesting baby names ever since. It's driving me crazy! She KNOWS my style in baby names and these are the names she is suggesting:

-Earl
-Ron
-Roger
-Casper
-Robert
-Andrew
-Oliver
-Brad
-Jack
-Martin
-Nick
-George
-Joseph
-Fred
-Henry
-Greg
-Jerry
-Cory
-Alan
-Adam
-Kevin

I mean I know she's just trying to help (or talk me out of the names I already like) but with each suggestion I kindly told her we're not looking for a name like that-we want something a little less traditional and uncommon. I think we've decided to not tell anyone what we decide names-wise until the baby is born...because then they can't (or shouldn't) make rude comments about the name we picked out.

**I think we may be making progress-I just suggested Blaine to Josh and he likes it! WHoo! I looked up the popularity of it on SSA and its 564!! YES! Unfortunatly, Braxtons name is becoming quite popular-its in the 200's. :(

Okay so a few days ago we were at Hastings renting movies and Braxton wanted to get one so we let him pick one out. He chose Clifford. Well, he has watched it every single day! He usually watches it when he wakes up, before naptime and a bedtime! Geez! He freaks out if I take it out of the DVD player (what am i gonna do when its time to return it?!) haha. He is in LOVE with it. He talks about "dog" aka Clifford all the time now. Well it's close to nap time so I turned it on for him in my room and he sat on the bed with some toy trucks and watched/played at the same time. I came in here to use the computer for a bit and after about 10 minutes walked back to my room to check on him. This is what I saw:

He dragged his Cars chairs onto the bed and was sitting in them-I'm surprised he didn't get hurt!! He saw my camera and immediatly started saying "cheeeese" so I got a few really good shots of him posing. (Usually he sees my camera and runs away screaming "Nooooo" haha can you tell I take a MILLION photos of him (by his response?) LOL so after all the pictures I made him take the chairs down..he didn't like that too much! Boy..he's a cutie! :)

Pregnancy Dreams

-Some dreams I've had the past couple nights-

Garage Sale~
Josh and I were driving and I saw a garage sale I wanted to stop at even though they had obviously closed down for the day and had tarps over everything. So Josh stopped and we started looking through everything and I found some cute Disneys Cars toys I wanted to get Braxton so I told Josh to go knock on the door and tell them we wanted to buy these toys. It was like 9 pm so Josh didnt want to but I made him! So a man comes out and sells us the toys and we start looking around some more when I realize half the stuff there is OURS. I start going through a pile of clothes and realize its all my stuff...so I had to buy it back! Well we go to pay for it and I look at the guy who lived there and guess who it was? Alex Trebeck (sp?) and I go "Hey I know you from Jeopardy!" and I woke up.
When I told Josh about this dream I was still half asleep and said "Alex Trebone had a garage sale and sold all our stuff!" He was like.."Alex Trebone? Do you mean Alex Trebeck?"
Hahahah

Antichrist~
I was married to the antichrist. I was a christian and I was constantly having to hide that fact. He was very mean and controlling and never let me do anything. One day my grandma stopped by the house and asked if Braxton and I wanted to go to the library. I asked Antichrist if I could and he said no...but I snuck out and went anyways. After a while he realized what I did and came looking for me. He burst through the library doors and started searching for me. I immediatly started praying for Gods protection. At one point the antichrist looked right at me but it was like I was invisible. He didn't see me at all. After he searched the whole place he left. I started studying and praying. Later, a few hours later, a few people came into the library and started looking around. I saw a couple of them and recognized them! My family!! I was relieved...until I saw the mark on their foreheads. They were looking for me! and not for the reasons I had hoped. I hid in a closet as they searched the place. After a few minutes the closet door opened and I was terrified they looked right at me yet didn't see me. For the 2nd time God had supernaturally protected me by making me invisible to the enemys eyes! During my dream I kept hearing the phrase, "If you have faith in God He will protect you." It was like I was thinking that the whole dream. I tried to escape but woke up before I did.

Survey-Week 13

How far along? 13 weeks and 6 days
Total weight gain/loss: -4 lbs (Yeah! I shoulda gained 6 by now-Oh well!! ha!)
Maternity clothes?Yes! I have one pair of regular "fat" jeans I wear-my cousin gave them to me months ago and they were way too big-now they fit comfortably!
Stretch marks? Just the ones I already had from Braxton!
Sleep: I get up about once to go pee-I'm constantly tossing and turning..
Best moment this week: Hearing the heartbeat!
Movement: Not yet but hopefully soon
Food cravings: Taco Bueno! I usually HATE Taco Bueno...
Gender: Hoping for a girl but I have a feeling its a boy.
Labor Signs: Nope
Belly Button in or out? In
What I miss: shopping for clothes without thinking..wait, how is this gonna look on me in a few months when I'm huge! Haha
What I am looking forward to: The ultrasound in 3 weeks! We'll be finding out the gender!
Weekly Wisdom: I have no wisdom :)
Milestones: We heard the heartbeat on a doppler! (156 bpm)

I'm all of a sudden not feeling well.
It's like out of no where I got a headache, and my throat is killing me.
I can actually feel my blood pumping through my throat if that makes sense? It's like a pounding sensation.
I just wanna lay down and take a nap.
And...its soooo freakin cold today! I thought it was "spring?" I'm freezing!! :(
Blech.

And to make this day worse, my m/s came back this morning.
I woke up and the first thing I did was start dry heaving.
I had to get some water and like half an eggo before it stopped.
and I still felt sick for most of the day...

13 weeks

I'm almost out of my 13th week but I'll go ahead and post all the info! :)

Fingerprints have formed on your baby's tiny fingertips, her veins and organs are clearly visible through her still-thin skin, and her body is starting to catch up with her head — which makes up just a third of her body size now. If you're having a girl, she now has more than 2 million eggs in her ovaries. Your baby is almost 3 inches long and weighs nearly an ounce.

Appointment

My appointment went well.

I had to:
-fill out paperwork/give nurse my medical history
-pee in a cup
-give 3 vials of blood
-listened to the heartbeat (156 bpm!) (isnt that "girls range" in the OWT's?) hehe

-I gave my dr my u/s report and she wanted to change my due date to the 24th! So I am 13w5d so I'll be posting all my 13w info soon since I'm almost 14 weeks!
-Dr tried to measure fundal height but I guess my uterus hasn't "popped" out of my pelvis yet.
-Asked doctor all my questions:
-Can I eat tuna. --Yes, 2 servings a week but no more.
-Can I lift Braxton (hes 35 lbs) and sometimes I cramp when I lift him? --No if you're cramping that is your body telling you you're over doing it.
-Can I try for a vbac? --No, insurance won't allow it.
-Shouldn't my morning sickness be GONE already?! --Yes for most women it is but some women have it the whole pregnancy lets hope thats not the case for you.
-How much folic acid do I need? --The prenatals I gave you today have just what you need.

I was there for 2 hours!! Ugh! I swear Dr. Kimmel doesn't get there til like 10 am! Haha My appointment was at 9 AM and I didn't leave til 11 am. I only saw the dr for like 15 minutes so she didn't get to me until 10:45 or so!

Anyways, everythings going well and I am so relieved. Dr. Kimmel told me to relax and in no time I'll be holding another beautiful baby. :)

Edited this post

Josh is driving me crazy.
I've found tons of boy names I'm okay with and he hates them all.

-Wyatt Hills (I like this, it sounds professional. When I hear it I think "Wyatt Hills-Attorney at Law) -Josh says its too "westerny" (umm we ARE in Oklahoma!) and then starts telling me to look up Wyatt Earp.

-Alexander Pierce (I told him the middle name is negotiable. I just love Alexander, and the nickname Xander.) He told me he HATES it.

-Emerson (This one I'm kinda ehh about...I suggested it to Josh and he said "better")

-Joel (I love it and its biblical) Josh just said "ehhhh.." when I suggested it.

and then of course there are the other names I have picked out in my last post/rant about boys names.

I found a great website full of unique baby names...its just getting Josh to agree to one...

He just suggested Elijah. Which I kinda like...but I just can't see our son named that....ugh.

3 more weeks until we find out the sex..I want to have names set in stone before we find out!

The wedding

Well the wedding went pretty good.
I'm absolutly exhausted from rushin around all day though!

At 1 pm four of us went to go get our hair done. There was one more bridesmaid but she was just getting back from a vacation at Florida so we had to do her hair. We left the salon around 3:30 and got to the church at 4 pm.

We then had to put make up on, eat, and get dressed/ready for pictures at 6 pm. As we were getting ready we realized we forgot the brides shoes!! 30 minutes away at Lindseys house. It was too late to send someone back for them! :( So she had to wear her flip flops down the aisle! Luckily her dress was quite long so I don't think anyone noticed.

7 pm rolled around and it was time to start. Us bridesmaids walked down the aisle, up a couple of stairs onto a platform. The bride (Stacy) walked down the aisle with her father, up the stairs and nearly fell off the stairs because of her dress. The ceremony was beautiful and afterwards they wanted to get some pics of the wedding party all together and everyone else was escorted to the reception area to eat. Pictures took about 20-30 minutes.

We all got to the reception area and it was a little bit...disastrous.

1. There was no food left.
2. People had already started eating the cake!! (WTH?!?!?)
3. Half the people who were at the wedding had left after they ate so hardly no one was left for the reception.

It was crazy!! After the bride and groom ate their cake, etc. it was time for them to leave. Their car got 'tagged' and it was horrible!! (and quite immature!)

Heres what all happened:
1. They completely ceran (sp?) wrapped the car so it was almost impossible to get in. (they were on a tight schedule so-not the best idea!)
2. There was shaving cream ALL over the car.
3. There was vasaline (GOBS of it) underneath the door handles.
4. There was even vasaline all over the side mirrors! (not a good idea at all!)
5. The car was filled with balloons (not so bad!)
6. The worst one- someone had taken tampons and soaked them in red food dye and put them all inside the car. Not only is that disgusting and immature but they were scattered all over the car-even on the brides side so they had to be taken out and trash bags had to be put all over her side to keep the red dye from getting on her dress. HORRIBLE!

Whatever happened to the traditional string of cans and just married sign?! Like seriously....

I'll post updates every 2-3 weeks with the same title as this one. :)

ETA-I just realized when you view it on my blog part of its cut off, to see the whole thing just click the image and it will show the full thing, bigger. :)

Oh gosh!
They asked us to be at the church for the wedding rehearsal at 7 pm and then we would start the bachlorette party after at Lindseys house. Well around 8 pm we actually STARTED the rehearsal, we ran through it 3 times. By the time that was done it was 9 or so. We were getting ready to leave and the bride and grooms parents start b*tching at us. Apparently the decorating was going on that night too. We were supposed to arrive at 6 if we wanted to help decorate-I couldn't. So they start complaining that we get to leave and they have to stick around and decorate EVERYTHING. So then we are forced to stay and decorate. We left the church at 11:30!!! To make things worse? Me and Josh were fighting the whole time (via text messages) because he wanted to give me a "curfew." He told me to be home by 1 am. I told him what time we left the church and that I still had the party to go to and he said "well thats not my fault they should have planned better" Well yeah it kinda is his fault that I wouldn't be able to go because he gave me a curfew. I told him he's treating me like I'm his daughter and thats just not right. He's always trying to be controlling. I can't go out with friends without him getting mad at me. It's always something. He was always like this right before we split up, it was one of the reasons we did. And now hes back to it. I hate it. So anyways after about 3 hours of arguing I finally got my way. We got to my cousins house at about midnight and started the party. I don't think ANYONE has ever seen a bachlorette party like this one. What did we do?

-Made pizza rolls
-drank apple juice
-watched music videos on VH1
-read the bible
(Stacy didn't know what the day of pentecost was or about speaking in tongues so we taught her) :) and then Lindsey looked up some verses on marriage for me.

Crazy huh? Lol :) It was fun though. We finally went to bed around 4 am and then I got up at 6 am so I could come home and watch Braxton while Josh was at work.

Now I'm about to head over to Lindseys and start the long process of getting ready. :D

Shopping!

My FIL took Braxton for a few hours so I did some shopping! :)
I'm starting to look for maternity clothes and things I can wear in the summer when its HOT, and I'm huge. I found a few really cute things.
This dress is not my usual style but I think It will be so cute when I have a big baby bump! It's very loose and flowy with plenty of room for growing!! :) Plus I'm going to be 8-9 months in July and September! I need lots and lots of dresses for this pregnancy! Lol.

I love skirts like this. Elastic band, flowy material. Perfect pregnancy skirt, I had 2-3 of them when I was pregnant with Braxton, they are sooo comfy!

These are just sweaters, well half sweaters, they come to the belly button and have half sleeves. Cute but I got them a little too big :( and NO I will noooot be wearing these in the summer hehe. But I was at Rue21 and they were only $1 each and I couldn't NOT buy them. So I got a black one and a gray one. :)
Not bad, I think today I only spent about $25. :D

Cramping.

For about a week I've been feeling some slight crampy feelings. I'm hoping they aren't bad cramps. I only notice them if I've been walking alot or if my bladder is really full. It's super weird. I've read that around this time cramping could be from the uterus growing, so hopefully thats what it is. It's got me a bit worried. On the Sept. FF boards a woman just lost her baby at 15 weeks, it died 2 weeks ago, at 13 weeks. It's so sad and so scary. I try not to think about 2nd trimester losses, it would be so hard.

Boy am I gonna be busy this weekend!!

Friday I have a wedding rehearsal then bachlorette party!
Saturday I'll be getting ready for the wedding most of the day, and then the weddings at 7.
Sunday I have church.

On to next week..
Tuesday I have a doctors appointment
Thursday I need to order Braxtons birthday cake.
Saturday I need to pick up the cake.
Saturday night I have a church fundraiser.
Sunday morning I have church
Sunday afternoon is Braxtons birthday party
Sunday evening is church again.
Tuesday Braxton has to get his shots :(

Ughh lots and lots to do the next couple weeks. Which is good, I'll be busy so I won't have time to worry about anything and then by the time all this is done it will be just TWO weeks til we find out the gender.

I am SO ready for March to be over!! :)

Snake!!

Okay so my cat Boo has been killing snakes, we've found 3 dead ones in our yard already. Just garden (or is it garter?) snakes. But the other day I was looking out the window and saw the cat with another snake, so I grabbed my camera and got some pictures. When I took the pics the snake was still alive. So here ya go:

It's a Redstripe Ribbon Snake. Non-poisonous. But boy was it big!

Now that I'm pregnant and am actually starting to feel like I'm really gonna have this baby, I keep thinking about when I was pregnant with Braxton. I have a few funny stories I wanted to post...this blog is kinda like a journal to me..I want to remember everything and so hopefully one day I can read back on it and remember all the stuff that happened in my pregnancies..I've already forgotten most of when I was pg w/ Braxton.

~Drawing blood~
I don't remember how far along I was but I had to have four tubes of blood drawn. I had never had blood drawn before so I didn't really know how it worked..they asked if I would like to lie down, I thought I would be fine so I said no. I just sat in a chair and averted my eyes as they inserted the needle and started drawing blood. After the 2nd tube of blood was drawn I started to feel a little funny but didn't say anything. The third tube was drawn and then half of the fourth when I made the mistake of looking over. (I can't stand the sight of blood!) I started getting light headed and dizzy. They noticed right away and asked what was wrong, I told them I didn't feel so great. They finished the other half of the tube, put a band-aid on me and told me to SLOWLY stand up. Well my head was spinning and I didn't understand anything they said. I stood up and fell right to the floor. I started dry heaving on the floor and they had to get me some orange juice and let me lay there on the floor til I felt better. My mom later told me my face was white as a ghost. That was so embarrasing but funny to look back on now. Now I know to lay down if they take ANY amount of blood!! :)

~Ultrasound Contractions~
When I was in the Hospital being induced my doctor wanted me to have an ultrasound so we could make sure baby was in the right position. So she sent someone up to give me one. I had already been started on pitocin and was having mild contractions when the lady walked in and started the ultrasound. She was really nice. She was only supposed to look and leave but she was showing me all kinds of stuff, confirmed the gender, and printed me off some pictures even though she wasn't supposed to. It was amazing seeing him right before he was born. We got to see him suck his thumb, blink (that was AMAZING!) and much much more. I was really enjoying the ultrasound when-Uh-Oh-Contraction. I tried to just take it and not complain I mean-I was getting a free ultrasound and she said she would stop when I asked her to. I wanted to see my baby so I just gripped Joshs hand and just took the pain. Nothing hurts like a contraction WHILE someone is poking and jabbing at your uterus so hard you think you'll pee. Finally the pain got so bad I had to tell her to stop! Lol

~When are you due?~
About two weeks after I had Braxton Josh and I went to the store to get some WIC (women, infant and children-free gov. program). We were staying with my mom at the time so she offered to stay with Braxton since it was cold outside. Well we didn't need any formula so we just got the stuff for me (post partum WIC) which includes milk, eggs, cheese and juice. I was still quite swollen after having Braxton and I guess the lady checking us out thought I was pregnant! She asked me "When are you due?" Akward. "Umm, I just had the baby..." lady: "Oh I am so sorry!"

~Maternity Clothes? Pshh..~
After I found out I was pregnant with Braxton (around 7-8 weeks) my mom and grandma took me shopping for some maternity clothes. They kept looking at huge XL shirts, pants with elastic bands...totally NOT my kinda clothing and I thought they were crazy. I kept telling them "I'm not gonna need maternity clothes! I won't get that big!" LOLOL so I ended up just getting some pajama pants in my regular size and a few tank tops. Oh about a month later, my clothes didn't fit! Then I started to realize I DO need bigger clothes. By the time I was 4 months pregnant I looked 6 months! I had gotten HUGE and had practically no clothes to wear-except for my old jeans with a ponytail holder looped around the button! Ha! I was so...naive? Uneducated? Not sure what the right word is but when I look back now its funny to think I didn't need maternity clothes-especially with how huge I was with Braxton! :)

Thats all I can remember if I think of more I'll add them here.

LOL

So this weekend I was hanging out with my cousins Paige (14) and Taylor (13) they were asking about the baby and when I'd find out the sex, etc, etc. They are so excited. Buuuut..

Then they started telling me about their moms (pregnant) friend. They said that the last time they saw her she was telling them, "Touch my belly-it's getting hard already! I'm showing!!" and so they did and they said she was showing. I was kinda curious and asked how far along she was. They said, "Oh about 4-5 WEEKS." WEEKS!! I started laughing. I told them there is NO WAY she is showing already. They baby is TINY. I told them it's probably bloat, I had it. (Yay its gone now!) and they were like, "No she really is showing a little bit and her tummy is hard." I tried to explain but they just couldn't get it through their heads. I told them I'm in my 4th month and am just barely showing! I got a pretty good laugh out of that. Sometimes I forget that not everyone obsessively reads pregnancy books...:)

I'm sick

So the past few days I haven't been feeling so well. Nothing big. Scratchy and slightly sore throat, itchy ears and a little cough. I thought I'd be fine in a few days. Yesterday I felt a bit worse so I called my doctor and they told me to take Mucinex or Sudafed. So I've been doing that. Last night I felt pretty miserable, the symptoms above were worse. I could NOT sleep well last night, yesterday I drank almost 200 ounces of water so I was up all night peeing, coughing, popping cough drops and sudafed every 4 hrs and blowing my nose. Ugh. This morning I woke up and I have never felt so horrible in my life. I have a fever..I can't find my thermometer so idk how high, my nose is so runny I'm blowing it every 3 minutes, my cough sounds horrible and makes my sore throat even worse. And to make things even "better" (sarcasm) I vomited all over myself this morning. I felt like I needed to so I sat up in bed and got my feet swung over the side when---I threw up, all over my legs and feet. GROSS!! Luckily all I had in my stomach was water, lots of water. So it wasn't horribly disgusting. Anyways, when I'm sick its like Josh gets mean..he doesn't want to help me or anything. So I text my Mom this morning and shes bringing me gatorade and tissues on her way to work..I was kinda hoping she'd just stay and baby me like she used to when I was sick. :( Luckily Braxton is at my grandmas house all day, he's sick too and I just couldn't take care of the both of us. Ahhhh. I want to feel better!!!!!

I am now officially in my 2nd trimester! Yeahhhhh! I am so excited! The chance of m/c drops waaaay down, though I felt pretty good with this pregnancy from the start anyways!

What babycenter says about week 12:

Baby:

The most dramatic development this week: reflexes. Your baby's fingers will soon begin to open and close, his toes will curl, his eye muscles will clench, and his mouth will make sucking movements. In fact, if you prod your abdomen, your baby will squirm in response, although you won't be able to feel it. His intestines, which have grown so fast that they protrude into the umbilical cord, will start to move into his abdominal cavity about now, and his kidneys will begin excreting urine into his bladder.Meanwhile, nerve cells are multiplying rapidly, and in your baby's brain, synapses are forming furiously. His face looks unquestionably human: His eyes have moved from the sides to the front of his head, and his ears are right where they should be. From crown to rump, your baby-to-be is just over 2 inches long and weighs half an ounce.

Me:

Your uterus has grown to the point where your healthcare provider can now feel the top of it (the fundus) low in your abdomen, just above your pubic bone. You may already be into maternity clothes, especially if this isn't your first pregnancy. If you're still fairly small and not yet ready for maternity clothes, you've no doubt noticed that your waist is thickening and that you're more comfortable in loose, less restrictive clothing. You may begin to feel heartburn (also called acid indigestion), a burning sensation that often extends from the bottom of your breastbone to your lower throat. Many women get heartburn for the first time during pregnancy, and those who've previously had bouts of heartburn may find that it gets worse. During pregnancy, the placenta produces a lot of the hormone progesterone, which relaxes the valve that separates the esophagus from the stomach. Particularly when you're lying down, gastric acid can seep back up the pipe, which causes the uncomfortable burning sensation. For many women the problem doesn't begin (or get worse) until later in pregnancy, when your growing uterus starts to push up on your stomach. The discomfort may range from mildly annoying to intense and distracting.

This is a pretty big day-not just for me.

-One of my friends is finding out the sex of her baby today! I am so excited!!
-One of my friends who has been TTC since August just got her BFP this morning!!!
-I just realized this was Braxtons due date!
-And its St. Patricks Day. :)

Only thing that really sucks about this day is I have a cold and I have no clue what I can take for it. :(

Weird Dream

I had the weirdest dream last night.

I was in the hospital and I was asleep. I 'woke up' and noticed I wasn't pregnant anymore, I asked the nurse about it and she said I already had the baby (--I had SEVERAL dreams like that when I was pg w/ brax) so I said okay I wanna see it. So she brought him to me and...it was a baby bunny! I was okay with it...apparently at some point in my pregnancy they asked me if I wanted a baby or a bunny, and I said bunny, because I thought Braxton would like a brother/pet. Ha! So I held my baby bunny and then started getting depressed thinking I made a mistake. I asked the nurse when we could start TTC and she told me in 3 months so I said okay good, so she asked "Regretting the bunny?" "Yeah.." I said. and she hugged me. I was looking through the baby book and noticed the ultrasound photos and saw the rabbit ears. I remember thinking "I can't post these on FF, I'll be so embarassed!" (I think I may be obesessed with FF) ;)

So yeah, there is my weird little pregnancy dream. Last night I had the kinda dream that kinda flows on to other things, runs together with other things and so this is what else happened in dreamland last night:

-The rapture happened only kinda backwards: the christians were left on earth with Jesus and everyone else was taken away.

-I was in a bar singing Mexican songs.

I woke up between each of these dreams and realized that the shows on tv influenced my dreams-I left it on TBN when I fell asleep..so apparently someone was talking about the rapture, and I remember waking up to a mexican woman singing.

Weird!!

Boy names?!?!?!

I have been trying to find a boy name that DH will actually like...but nothing! I do tons of "research" looking for cute, yet unique boy names...and everytime I ask DH if he likes it, its always "no." Yet he won't look for any names or tell me what kind of names I should be looking for. It's getting frustrating. I might just do what I did with the girl name. I told him we ARE naming our daughter Adelyn and that he could pick the middle name if he liked. He picked Grace and now he actually LOVES the name Adelyn. Here are some boy names I have picked out but he said no to each and every one of them:

-Alexander
-Pierce
-Cameron
-Zaden (a little weird I know)
-Parker
-Grayson/Greyson

I'm running out of ideas! I hate popular names but I've even been suggesting some to DH hoping we can agree on SOMETHING but...not yet. We'd better have a girl!!

Shopping!

I went to the mall today with my BFF. So much fun. :)

I bought Braxton the cutest book. It's about being a big brother, he probably won't understand it just yet but we've got another 6 months til the baby is here. I bought it at Motherhood Maternity♥ I love that place. The last time I went in there I wasn't married yet so I went by my maiden name, this time I went by Hills so I got re-signed up for everything. Which meant....another Mommy Goodybag! YAAAAY! I'm just excited b/c they give away a free bottle/coupons in each bag. And the bottle they gave us is the exact same one we decided to use. It's the playtex BPA free drop-in kinds. I'm going to try breastfeeding and those bottles are reccomended for breastfeeding moms so yay! :) Not to mention I got coupons for: diapers, wipes, diaper rash cream, and more. Awesome! Here is the book I got Braxton:

Scary dream :(

ok so after my worrying this morning at 5:30 I went back to sleep.
I had the worst dream ever!

I dreamt that I woke up and went pee and when I wiped the tp was covered in red blood. Horrified I looked in the toilet and saw more blood. I told Josh he had to get me to the ER NOW! So we got in the car and headed there and the whole time I was screaming and crying "Why is this happening to me again?!"

It sucked! Freaked me out it was so real. So when I woke up I had to check and make sure I wasn't bleeding.

Ugh I want the images out of my head. :(

Please pray.

This morning around 5:30 Braxton kicked me in the stomach. He sleeps in our bed still and kicks alot. That was the 3rd time that night he had kicked me, only this time he kicked me straight in the uterus and very hard! It's been hurting ever since. Please pray that everything is okay with the baby. I'm kinda worried.

Okay so Feb. 28th I posted a blog saying how we are starting a "change jar" for the baby. My cousin did this when she was pg and had alot saved by the time the baby arrived and it helped having the extra cash to get whatever else she needed after the shower, etc. So every 2 weeks or so I'm going to post a photo of how much we've collected. It's a HUGE jar so it looks like theres nothing in there but it nearly filled a coffee can :) We're hoping to have the whole thing filled within the next 6 months. We'll see!

Not much yet...it's only been two weeks. 6 months to go!

It's snowing

It started snowing a couple hours ago...I really hate snow, but I love watching Braxton play in it! I'm sad though because I can't let him go out and play. I have no clue where his hat and gloves are, and he's starting to get a little cough. :(

Go away snow!

I can't stand this Oklahoma weather! Just 4-5 days ago it was HOT and nearly 80 degrees outside. 3 days ago it got cold, below zero, started raining 2 days ago and now its snowing!

Grrrr!

How far along? 11 weeks and 1 day!
Total weight gain/loss: Not sure, last appt I had lost 2 lbs but that was 3 wks ago
Maternity clothes? Just maternity jeans, my shirts still fit fine.
Stretch marks? No more than I had before...
Sleep: Having a hard time sleeping but when I do get a good sleep its wonderful!
Best moment this week: Monday, when I felt absolutley wonderful, no m/s or anything...
Movement: Not yet
Food cravings: Sour foods; granny smith apples, lemons, pickles, red grapefruit...mmmm
Gender: Don't know yet but praying for a girl!
Labor Signs: No way
Belly Button in or out? In
What I miss: POAS-LOL I think I was addicted....haha
What I am looking forward to: My next appointment when we'll get to hear the HB w/ a doppler-and my ultrasound in April
Weekly Wisdom: Always trust your instinct; if you feel something is wrong call your doctor.
Milestones: not sure

WEEK 11!!!

Forgot to post this yesterday. Today I am 11w1d! :D I'm so happy to have made it this far!

Symptoms I've been having:

  • Morning sickness (still!)
  • Extreme hunger (ugh-I'm so sick of food)
  • Fatigue
  • Constipation/Gas :(
  • Caffeine cravings (uhoh!)

I think thats it. My next appointment is in 13 days! YAY! We'll get to hear the heartbeat again! I'll be 13 weeks, this is my first "official" appointment with my OBGYN. YAY! The other times she just saw me at the HD. Not looking forward to peeing in a cup...at her office she doesn't use the "professional" peecups. No. She uses tiny DIXIE cups. I hate it! Oh well..

I'm going crazy waiting on my next ultrasound. 5 weeks! :( buuuut we'll be finding out the sex (hopefully!) if baby cooperates!! I'll be 16 weeks so FX that we can see!!

I'm so ready to be out of the first trimester!! This is a busy month for me so hopefully it just flies by! I've got a wedding shower, rehearsal, bachlorette party, Wedding, birthday party, church dinner...sooo much to do in the next two weeks! and I'm glad b/c I need the distraction! :D

Stressful day!

Okay one of my best friends is getting married in 2 weeks. Well they ordered the wedding dress & bridesmaids dresses back in December. Right after I found out I was pg. I told them I wouldn't know what size to get but that I'd be 3.5 months pregnant for the wedding. Well they took the size I wore prepregnancy and added SIX sizes to it. How huge did they think I was gonna be at 3 months?! So we got to Davids Bridal and I tried my dress on. Freakin hung off me!!! lol It was waaaay too big so we asked if they could take it in, they said they could only take it in 2 sizes. I tried on the MOH's dress (she was the same size as me prepregnancy) and it fit perfectly. So I needed it taken in 6 sizes! They couldn't do that. So we were freaking out! It took 3 months just to get these SPECIAL ORDER dresses and now mine didn't fit and there was nothing we could do about it. Luckily the person helping us was a genious :) and found a dress in the exact same color that was very similar for the MOH and I took the other dress and we just did an exchange. LUCKY! :D And its not unusual for the MOH to have a different dress than the bridesmaids so that was just a miracle!! BUT Stacy (the bride) apparently has gained weight since she tried on her dress in December, because its not fitting. So we told her either 1. Lose weight or 2. get it altered. So she decided to alter it...so now its not gonna be done until like the day before her wedding! Friday we're going to get mani/pedis and pick out some jewelry, Saturdays the bachlorette party then next saturdays the wedding. This had been such a looong day. I was gone from 10-6. I'm exhausted. Though I did eat at Olive Garden for the first time and OMG it was amazing. I had spaghetti & meatballs :D and their breadsticks and salad, YUM! hehehe
What a day....

Mystery food....

So apparently Braxton has gotten in the habit of ripping the labels off of canned goods.
Usually I can trust him enough to jump in the shower while he's awake so today, like every other day I got in the shower while he was playing. Well when I got out I found him in the kitchen and about 15 cans had the labels ripped off!! Ughh!!! Now i have no clue what is what! So I have 15 "mystery cans"...how wonderful! He's already figured out to get into child proofed cabinets so idk what I'm going to do about that!

LOL as I'm typing this DS is asleep on the floor next to me. He was soooo tired I told him to go lay down and go to sleep, he got mad and threw himself in the floor and started throwing a tantrum, well lets say that didn't last long. After maybe 3 seconds of being on the floor whining he fell asleep, haha!

Gotta love the lil guy....

Great Deal

I found this in a post on FF and thought I'd share:

-Walgreens has Jumbo packs of Huggies on sale for $10 this week. -Go to coupons.com and print out the $5 coupon and hit the back button and print out a second one. -For every $25 you spend on Huggies, Kotex, certain Kleenex this week at Walgrees, you get $10 back on your next purchase...

Not bad! I just printed off 2 $5 off coupons and 1 $3 off coupon for Huggies diapers. I need to make a run to Walgreens now! :D (We are already stocking up on diapers!)

Dr. Pepper

Before I was pregnant, mountain dew was my favorite (soft) drink. I hated pretty much everything else though I would occasionally drink a Barqs Root Beer. The worst? Coke, Pepsi and Dr. Pepper.

I've found that (now that I'm pg) I cannot drink mountain dew! I bought one when I was 7 weeks or so, took a drink and almost gagged. It was so sweet and syrupy I couldn't handle the taste of it! One night my brother stayed the night and brought a 2 liter of Dr.Pepper over. "Yuck" I thought...the next day he went home but left the pop. I was sooo thirsty and I had absolutley nothing else to drink (our citys tap water is horrible.) So I poured a glass of it and drank it, and well, I didn't hate it. I actually loved it.

So now, thats all I ever want to drink (besides water of course.) I just can't get enough of it! I drink 1 can a day though most days I just want to drink the whole 24 pack I have. (Don't worry I don't) :)

Isn't it weird how during pregnancy your tastes just completely change? What a time to try something new! :)

On an unrelated side note: I think my m/s is GONE! I have felt just fine all morning. Haven't even ate yet this morning and I'm not 'dying' of hunger or nausea. Whoo-hoo!!! My FF pregnancy tracker did say that alot of womens m/s goes away this week. Hope so! :D

Church was awesome as always. The morning service was amazing and again we heard from God (through tongues & interpretation of tongues) and I will be putting what was said in here as soon as I get a copy of the service on cd. Evening service was crazy! In a wonderful way of course. :) After Michelle & Daphne finished speaking they asked if anyone in the room has not received their prayer language yet, or if others who had needed some help/encouragement. They had us come to the front for prayer. Daphne asked me if I have recieved my prayer language. I told her yes but I have problems with it because it seems I repeat the same thing over and over again and it discourages me. She said that is common and its just like a baby learning to speak, you start out with a few words and over time learn more. She asked me to pray (in tongues) out loud with her. I did and she did also, after a while she stopped me and said "Well you definetly have your tongues, and they're rich. I've never heard a 'baby' christian with such a rich prayer language-and I've heard alot!" So that was exciting for me! For along time I doubted myself, thinking I was just making it all up (since it was so repetitive) and pretty much stopped using it. Tonight was just the confirmation I needed, and encouragement as well! More exciting news, my daddy was filled with the Holy Spirit. (thats a big deal because he's not even pentecostal, hes from the church of latter day saints yet the past couple months hes gotten saved, and then tonight, received his prayer language! YAY!)

Oh and totally unrelated but wonderful news! My parents are getting back together. December 26th my mom left my dad and said she wanted a divorce. That's when daddy started coming to our church..he changed so much and I really think mom saw that. It's so crazy b/c what they were going through is the exact same thing Josh and I went through last year, and it all got resolved the same way Praise God!! They were making the divorce final on March 11th-just 3 days away...when just a couple days ago my mom moved back home and said she didn't want the divorce. That makes me sooo happy!

Ah isn't Jesus wonderful??
:)

Chicken

I'm baking some BBQ chicken...and it smells soooo good.
First thing I've cooked in like...5 weeks? Thats sad.
But good news:

I've gotten my apptetite back (yay)
I've got less food aversions (yay)
and I can start cooking for my family again (Yay!)

My mouth is watering. I wanna eat this chicken NOW! :D
YumYumYum.

Sorry for the completely pointless blog. :)
I'm just hungry..

Just an update on the symptoms I have:
-morning sickness
-constipation
-sore bbs (came back-now they are just senstive/tingly)
-food aversions (think I'm getting less of these now though)
-extreme thirst and hunger!
-slight fatigue-not too bad

Well, I'm kinda upset with DH. For like, a month now I have been begging him to let me rent a doppler! I want one soo bad. I found a website that only charges 20 something a month (www.babybeat.com) but...then while I was on FF I came across a board about them and found...

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&Item=170267218835&Category=117028

That! I want it SOO bad!! You can hear the hb as early as 7 weeks!!! There is still 19 days left...maybe I'll BEG DH to buy it ;)

VBAC?

I've been thinking. I might want to try a VBAC.
DH has been talking about havin 5 kids!!!
(We originally decided on three...but now he's thinking 5)
and of course, I'm only allowed 4 c-sections.
So at my next appointment I am going to ask my doctor about it (and PRAY that she will do it!!-I've heard some doctors won't b/c it can be risky.) Hopefully I'm a good candidate for it.

I think I will go ahead and do it AS LONG as the baby is small. If s/he measures too big its off! So I'm thinking...under 8 lbs=YES over 8 lbs=NO.

There is NO WAY I'm pushing a ten lb baby out my vag. No thank you. :)

FX for a small baby!!

I hate Oklahoma weather! Hate it!
2 days ago it was soooo freakin' COLD.
Today it's 84 degrees!
and I was stuck outside for two hours in jeans & a long sleeve shirt.
How?

DH was on his lunch break, about to leave. He opened the door and Braxton had a fit! He did NOT want his daddy to leave. So I asked if he would like to go outside. He said "uh-huh" so I shut the door and said bye to Josh then sat down on the porch and watched Braxton play. After, oh, twenty minutes Braxton got a boo-boo. So I told him I was gonna run inside, grab some neosporin and a band-aid and be right back. I got up and walked to the door, turned the knob..and guess what? It was locked. Apparently Josh locked it before he left (habit) :(
My phone was inside, my keys were inside...so we were stuck outside. Luckily my mom was coming over to get Braxton around 2ish. So we waited..and played, and I nearly had several panic attacks b/c of all the stupid wasps flying around. (I am SO scared of wasps) My mom pulled in around 2:15, so I sent her to get the key from Josh, she got back around 2:25. I then had to get Braxton all cleaned up (boy was he DIRTY!) and pack a bag, all things that should of been done earlier. I felt bad, mom was in a hurry to pick up Tanner from school. Oh well. At least I'm sitting inside nice and cool now. :)

So since mom has Braxton tonight I really want to go to the movies...but we have this church thing tonight. It's actually all weekend. Our church has two guest speakers from Texas all weekend. They are having a "righteousness conference." Since they are gonna be here all weekend I kinda want just a night alone with Josh-its been awhile since we've had one of those! But I think Josh really wants to go to this thing, besides, he hates going to the movies.

Tomorrow...

is gonna be a rough day I imagine.
March 7, 2009.
The due date of my 2nd pregnancy.
I can't believe its been about 7 months since I lost my baby.
It went by fast.
It's so hard to think that if things would of worked out right,
I'd be holding a baby in my arms right now.

I miss you my sweet angel, I love you.
I'll meet you in Heaven.

So not fun

What's so not fun?
dry heaving...

It seems thats what I do every morning now.
It only happens when I have a dry mouth, like when I first wake up.
Horrible, Horrible, Horrible!!!
I would really just rather throw up!
Seriously.
:(

Braxton

He's just being cute today so I thought I'd write a little about what he's been doing. :)

First off, boy does this kid love Jesus!! For awhile now we've been teaching him about Jesus (the best we can for him being two) and it's just really starting to show. Okay so we have this big picture of Jesus in our bedroom and every night before bed Braxton always lists off everyone in the family (idk why though) It goes like this: Ma, Dad, Dog, Boo, Jesus. ♥ and he always points at the photo. He blows Jesus kisses and tells him he loves him. We even taught him to Praise God. All we have to do is say "Braxton, Praise God" and both his hands go in the air. It's especially cute at church, half the time he'll do it during praise and worship and we don't even tell him to. I just hope he continues to love Jesus this much when he's older....

Secondly, I LOVE NAP TIME. It used to be a struggle to put him down for a nap. (He used to be on a schedule-nap at 1 always) but I found that if I just let him go until he's ready for a nap he'll put himself to sleep. Today I was on the couch reading and Braxton went into his room. After a few minutes I didn't hear anything so I assumed he was doing something he's not supposed to do (he always gets really quiet when he does) so I walked back there and he was asleep on my bed (our rooms are right next to each other) and he was all covered up...just sleeping. :)

Aside from the horrible tantrums, I'm loving this toddler thing. :D

My cute hubby :)

I hope God blesses us with a baby girl, Josh and I were talking on Yahoo (IM) and he's been looking at lil girl clothes, here are a few things he said:

-awe look at these leggins for lil girls
-i cant wait to hold my lil baby girl
-we can dress her up like that huh

Haha this side of him is completely new to me. He was NEVER this excited when I was pg with Braxton. I just hope its a girl!

Cheeeeeese!

Cheese-Braxtons newest obsession.

We can't go to the store without Braxton wanting to buy cheese. We were at Walmart getting groceries a few days ago and Braxton saw the cheese area. He yelled "Cheeeese! Maaaa Cheeeeese!!" So I went over there and let him pick out some shredded cheese. He got some cheddar and so I let him hold it. He looked so proud, he just sat there holding/hugging the cheese saying cheeeese.

Well now everytime I go to the kitchen Braxton runs to the refrigerator and asks for cheese. So I make him say please. "Ma, Cheeeese Pweeeese?" Hehe :)

I think hes also just a bit obsessed with the word. I'm constantly taking pictures of him, often just with my cell phone. So the other day he got his (toy) cell phone and puts it up to his face and says "Cheeeeeese" (Notice he ALWAYS draws it out, he can't just say cheese it has to be cheeeeeese) My lil cutie pie. :)

At the moment hes sitting at the table eating a bowl full of cheese. Which I guess it's good he loves cheese so much because he hates milk and needs the dairy! ;)

Okay so I'm just a blogging ADDICT today. ;)

Last night, as you know, was DH and I's 2nd wedding anniversary. We had DS so we went out as a family. We went to Ihop cuz I just HAD to have pancakes :)
Well we ordered Braxton what they call the Silver Five or something like that.
It comes with 5 small pancakes, 1 piece of bacon and a scrambled egg.
When we got our food we all started eating, DH and I were talking and I look over at Braxton and he had an entire pancake shoved in his mouth. LOL Geez he eats just like his daddy.
So I cut up his pancakes and he started making "pancake sandwiches" and would shove like 4 pieces in his mouth at once. So I took a piece of egg and put it between 2 pieces of pancake (really didnt think he'd go for it) I showed it to him and his eyes got huge and he made a "gasping" sound and grabbed the "sandwich" out of my hands and shoved the whole thing in his mouth and looked at me like "Mom your a genious!!" Haha it was really cute..though now I have to work with him on table manners. I've never seen him eat like that before!!

So after Ihop we went to redbox (best thing EVER) and got some movies. We got Changeling, Nims Island and Madagascar 2. Changeling was so good but it made me so sad. I can't imagine that happening to me and it shocks me that its a true story. Today Braxton and I were watching Madagascar 2 (and let me tell you, if you havent watched that yet go rent it!! It may be a cartoon but OMG its so funny!!) Well we were watching that and I guess my hormones decided to kick in. When the lion was reunited with his parents I just started bawling. I've noticed I've been doing that alot lately. I'll see a commercial on tv about babies, or shampoo and start weeping. WTH?!

Okay thats all I have I think, I'll try to refrain from blogging anymore today. ;)

LOLOLOL

Okay funny story about DH I just HAD to tell.

He was in the convenience store getting me a (fountain) water. He went to put it on the counter so he could get a lid/straw and he totally wasn't paying attention...the cup of water fell to the floor, the cup broke and water went everywhere. Without even thinking he went to the front to tell an employee and said "My water broke, you might need to clean that up." The lady working just busted out laughing and started teasing him. (we live in a small town so everyone knows everyone-she wasnt being mean lol) So yeah..I thought that was hilarious!!!

And one more thing-so I don't have to write a new blog for this..Here are belly pics, I'm not sure if its bloat or baby haha.

How cute :)

Josh is so cute. With this pregnancy he is SO excited.
Everytime we go to Walmart or well, anywhere there are baby clothes he goes straight to the girl side and starts showing me dresses, lil shoes, lacy socks...it's adorable.
He wants a lil girl so bad. The dress we bought-he was actually the one to spot it & pick it out. :) When I was pg with Braxton I couldn't get him to look at baby clothes, but now...he's doing it all on his own. It just makes me happy :)

Well Josh agreed on getting another ultrasound, we want--well I want to find out the sex early, Josh says we should just wait until 20 weeks. (Ughhh!!) but I finally got him to agree on another. We'll be going April 13th when I'm 16 weeks. 6 weeks away...but feels like forever. I'm kinda scared to find out the sex, I'm afraid I'll be extremely disappointed if its a boy. Oh well.

So I'll also get my 20 week ultrasound, and Josh wants to get one more after that. A 3D-4D ultrasound sometime during my 3rd trimester. 4 ultrasounds :D I'm excited.

Big day...

I am 10 weeks today! (I think, still not sure! Maybe I'll call today) I feel soo much better!! 2 more weeks and I can almost completly relax! I googled around trying to figure out if the chance of m/c goes down after a heartbeat is seen and I found this:

Doctors generally agree that the risk of miscarriage decreases once the pregnancy reaches a point that an ultrasound can detect a heartbeat. The exact amount that it decreases, however, seems to vary by group.
It's hard to say any exact numbers from the available research, but here are some statistics that certain studies have come up with.
For women with no vaginal bleeding, most estimates suggest that the odds or having a miscarriage after seeing a heartbeat are about 4%.
For women with vaginal bleeding but also a detected heartbeat on ultrasound, risk of miscarriage is about 13% according to one study.
One study found that about 17% of women with a history of recurrent miscarriages will miscarry after seeing a heartbeat on the ultrasound.
Mothers over 35 also face significant miscarriage risk after ultrasound detects a heartbeat, even though the risk does drop after detecting the heartbeat. A 1996 study found that women over 36 have a 16% risk of miscarriage at this point, and women over 40 have a 20% risk.

I'm not going to put myself in the reccurant m/c category because we found out why I was having the miscarriages and we fixed it :) So my chances of having a healthy pregnancy is 96%, I'll take that :) lol

Anyways, today is DH and I's 2nd wedding anniversary!! I'm not sure if we're gonna get to do anything...Braxton will be here and we're broke til payday, we can't even have sex b/c its only been 5 days since we were treated and we have to wait 7 days. Maybe we'll just snuggle up with Braxton on the couch and watch movies or something :)

So..I've been taking weekly photos of my belly..and I'm gonna post them as soon as it actually looks like I'm showing...haha..the past few weeks its just been bloat so as soon as I start getting a bump they'll go on here :)

Oh gosh.
I only have about 2..but its crazy!
Red meat is one, but the worst is sweet things.
Anything thats sweet I can't tolerate.
Icecream, candy, koolaid, frosted cereal, mountain dew...
The weirdest thing is before I was pg I LOVED mountain dew, and hated any other kind of pop, but now mountain dew is WAY to sweet for me to drink. I've been craving Dr. Pepper. (I used to hate DP)
Cravings I've been having nearly every day:
-Corn on the cob
-String cheese
-Dr. Pepper

and then tonight I started craving Smirnoff (apple flavor) I told DH and he looked at me like I was crazy, haha. I told him not to worry I'm not actually going to drink any.

On a side note, I got a call from the doctor today and they moved my appointment :(
From March 16th to March 24th, I'll be 13 weeks. DS has his 2 yr old appointment the week after on March 31st :(( I hate it, he has to get shots. It's heartbreaking holding him down while hes screaming and looking at me like "mommy why are you letting them do this? Do something!!" :((
