The [boring] life of a SAHM

Okay so a few days ago I blogged about that website headband holders and mentioned I really liked the holders but think I could make them myself? Well I really can because I found ALL the supplies the website used for theirs at WALMART!! Whoo!

I found the large wooden piece with the metal thingys on the top (they are IDENTICAL) for $4. I paid $.050 for a bottle of brown paint and the same price for a bottle of pink paint. Bought 3 brushes for about $3 and 2 rolls of pink and brown polka dotted ribbon for $3 each. Total= about $14. I still need to buy some stencils but I couldn't find any I liked at walmart so I'll check hobby lobby. They shouldn't cost much. So lets just round up to 20 dollars to include the stencils.

This website is selling the hairbow holders for $70!!! I don't think that includes shipping either! & I'm making mine for $20. Crazy!

I can't wait to get started though!! After I finish this project I'm going to buy more paint and the wooden letters to spell out Adelyn and paint them polka dotted and hang them from ribbon.

I feel so crafty. :)
