We've been exposed to the h1n1 virus.
My cousin & her 1 year old daughter both tested positive for it.
They have been over to our house several times since Addie was born.
I'm freaking out.
I called Braxton & Addies pedi & she just said theres not much we can do. Just to keep an eye on all of us & see if we get sick. Great.
I'm hoping & praying none of us catch it. Especially little Addie.

If you don't mind me asking, what kind of symptoms did your cousin and her daughter have? What made them decide to get testing?

Her daughter just had some congestion & wheezing and had to be put on breathing treatments. She also had a fever. My cousin's started out as a migraine, chest pain & she said her eyes would hurt & burn when she moved them (when she looked around)
Her mom is a nurse so she just tested them both for it.

My stepson has it, but luckily he was at his mom's house this week. His fever was over 104 last night. He almost had to go to the ER...it was really scary. Email me so we can talk about it more. My stepson has to stay away from me for an entire week so that I don't get it, so we won't see him for 2 weeks. :(
